PONGAL & TRADITIONAL GAMES MELA !
MACA’s recent Special Pongal & Traditional Games Mela was a big successWe were happy to see a mixed age group playing together. We were delighted to see a good number of kids. We would like to make a special mention of Master Senthil, age 6 who insisted and played Carrom Board, Chess and Pallankuzhi very well with other adult members.
Our main objective of this event is to introduce our ancient strategy games to our youngsters and have fun in a family
atmosphere. We were happy to find the members had a very good time.
This is the first of its kind for MACA ! We are confident that when we conduct this event next time, we will make it more interesting!
A few families who registered for the show did not show up nor informed us. Since the hall had limited capacity, we could not accommodate others who wanted to participate in this show. If they would have told us, we could have accommodated these interested members.
We would like to thank all the volunteers who helped us to conduct this event. Special thanks to our sports coordinators – Pravin & Balu assisted by our committee members Gita, Jaya, Husna, Raghuraman and Vasan.
